    Interning at Deloitte

First time seeing how backend systems are built and kept alive inside a large organisation. Turns out reliability is a discipline, not a feature.

Maintaining the tools I actually use

Still putting time into NoteWise and my other tools. I care less about shipping and more about whether something still feels worth opening a month later.

    Going deeper on backend systems

Reading a lot about distributed systems and reliability — the parts of backend work that only reveal themselves when something breaks under real pressure.

    Writing from what I'm learning

Using the writing section to think out loud. Failure modes, architecture, dependability — ideas get clearer once I try to write them down.

Closing the gap between student projects and production work

A lot of my best work came from competitions and personal projects. I'm trying to carry that same ownership into production work without losing the instinct that made it good.
